Interest in local history has become popular again in recent times, but there are a wealth of antiquarian books which give an interesting insight into times and lives past, as well as geographical, architectural and ecclesiastical information.
Many books are very rare and/or expensive to obtain and for the average family historian their acquisitian is not cost effective, solely on the possibility that there just may be a reference to an ancestor.
